The Qalumma® software needs a Microsoft® SQL Server with the required Neuralbase installed.

The Qalumma® software consists of five programs which are installed by Microsoft® Windows Installer (MSI) packages.

The five programs are:

1.Qalumma® Neuralbase Admin
This program will prepare and update the required Neuralbase tables and stored procedures on a given SQL Server. This program also creates the Main Organization and the Administrator for that Main Organization.
Preferably installed on the machine with SQL Server, but can be installed on any machine.

2.Qalumma® Service Repository <version>
This installation copies all Qalumma Services (Security, Maintenance, Trigger and Execution) to the repository folder of this version. It does not install the services.
Normally installed on the machine with SQL Server, but can be installed on any machine.

3.Qalumma® Service Controller
This program installs, controls, auto updates and removes Qalumma Services for a Neuralbase and consists of a Service Controller application and a Service Controller service.
The Qalumma Controller uses the Qalumma Service Repository (see 2.) on the same machine to install the actual Qalumma Service.
Normally installed on the machine with SQL Server, but can be installed on any machine.

4.Qalumma® Admin
With this program the Administrator can maintain Information Types, Languages, Security, Credit, etc.
Normally installed on a client machine, but can be installed on any machine.

5.Qalumma® Client
With this program users can create, edit, link, view and export all kinds of information (including files) of the organization.
Normally installed on a client machine, but can be installed on any machine.
